Advantages: Gives you a little energy boost

Disadvantages: Perhaps not the most healthiest drink when drank in large quantities

Lucozade Orange is intended to be an energy drink, to give people that are under taking energetic activity an extra boost. But of course, there are those of us that are not the most energetic, but still drink it all the same.

Lucozade Orange is sold in a number of sizes, a 380 ml bottle, a 500 ml bottle, a 1 litre bottle and there is a 2 litre bottle but the only 2 litre bottle that I have seen is in the Original flavour. Lucozade is also sold at different prices depending on where it is bought from, such as a multipack of the 380 ml bottles can be bought from ASDA form about £2 while it is on special offer, while at Tesco it is cheaper at £1.77. While the cheapest 1 litre bottle, which I buy, can be found at ASDA for £1 a bottle; but is still expensive when you consider that ASDA did at one point sell the 1 litre bottle for 77p.

One of the problems that I have when I buy the 1 litre bottle is the size and weight of the bottle. As when I carry it in my bag to university, it can be a little heavy and as the weight is in a single bottle, it pushes all the weight to one side. But this is a minor problem that I put to one side.

The main reason why I purchase the Lucazade Orange, is when I go to university and spend a long time at there it can become tiring and you want something to give me a little boost while you are sitting there listen hour after hour. One thing that I have found is that once a certain amount the Lucazade has been drunk it no longer gives you that extra bit of energy.

One little problem that I have with the Lucazade is the amount of sugar and other ingredients that are present to give you that extra boost, as too much of it cannot be a good thing.

In terms of the taste of the Orange flavour it is a strong flavour, that that is also sweet, but it does not seem a nature orange taste but an artificial flavour of orange.

Overall I like the taste of Lucazade Orange, as it is a sweet taste, which is even better when it has been chilled in a fridge for a while. But what I have found is that if too much of it has been drunk, if can become quite sickly. But when drank in reasonable quantities it is a good drink, that gives you a slight lift if you are dragging.

I would recommend the drink, as it does give you that extra little bit of energy, but do not expect it t give you a major boost, as the effects that I have got from this are only slight to get me going.
