Advantages: boost your energy, low caffeine content, cheaper than other energy drinks

Disadvantages: very high sugar content

Lucozade energy has a unique flavour and taste, you will not know if you will like it or not before you have actually tried it.

It is an orange coloured fizzy energy drink. It is a glucose based drink, by giving you sugar it will boost you energy levels, i prefer this to caffeine based drink. A quotation taken directly from the back of the bottle says;

"Tired of battling through your day,
Get your edge back with lucozade energy,
Provides glucose which acts fast to refuel your body for physical activity."

One worrying factor is that one 380ml serving provides you with a third of your daily sugar levels.

Lucozade comes in various shapes and sizes, in my local shop alone there is 250ml cans, 380ml bottles, 500ml bottles and 1l bottles as well as 6 packs of 380ml bottles, The packaging is orange with yellow writing on all bottles and cans.

The prices are good for an energy drink, a 380ml bottle is around 79p, if you shop around there always seems to be an offer on them or the 500ml or 1lit bottles.

I highly recommend lucozade to those who don't like drinks with a high content of caffeine, this drinks caffeine content is minimal but please not the high sugar content.
