Advantages: Good taste, slight energy giving qualities

Disadvantages: Doesn't give much energy, stains clothes on occasion

Lucozade is a great tasting glucose based energy drink.

I remember the good old days of my mother tucking me up in bed when I was little and bringing in the hallowed cellophane wrapped glass bottle of Lucozade . A cure all for everything! Funny though, I never used to like it then. Now however is a different story....

...I love the stuff - gets me through the day at work although it isn't quite as potent as the newer breed of energy drinks.

Nowadays you can buy Lucozade Original, Sport, Orange, Lemon - many different kinds.

The price varies greatly depending on where you purchase your Lucozade and the amount that you desire.

The last good deal that I got on it was 77p for 1L - great!!

Seriously though, this drink claims to provide you with enough glucose to quickly refuel your body for physical exertion.

Also always remember to enjoy it as part of a balanced diet!
