I tend to reach for the odd bottle of Lucozade. At this moment I am gulping down a bottle, but the only 2 times I tend to drink this is when I don't feel well and have a louzy cold or flu, or if i've been on the drink the night before and, dare I say overdone it? Yes I was out last night, had 13 Drinks, a mixture of Vodka and Diet Coke, Smirnoff Ice, White Wine and Bacardi and Diet Coke. I got in at 3am and I crawled out my bed about an hour ago. Although I am not hungover in a sense with a sore head, I am kinda thirsty and this is where Lucozade comes in!

You get Original Lucozade in a few different ways. The normal sized bottle is 380ml and costs around 80p, The 1 litre Bottle which costs about £1.70 and the 6 Bottle Multipack which is 6 Bottles of the 380mls. This costs around £3.50.

The design of the Bottle hasn't changed at all since I remember it. The Bottles are plastic and have wrap around plastic feeling labels on them. the main colour is red on the bottle and the writing is in yellow. There is a few black patches on it as well, so it all stands out with the colours. The Screw lid is red. I always used to be annoyed by the wideness of the opening to this bottle. It is pretty wide, but not that hard to drink from. The wideness on the 1 litre bottles isn't so wide, and is just a normal bottle sized hole.

This drink is packed full of calories with 266 calories per 380ml bottle. I know it is horrendous, but this really does help when you're not feeling that good. Probably because this is packed full of sugars with Glucous syrup being one of the main ingredients.

Although there is a lot of other Lucozades out there such as Apple, Orange and the cheaper Supermarket brand version of this, this one is the best in my view as it is tasty and you can't beat the original.
