Whilst many other energy drinks have come & gone, Lucozade has been around for many years & is still an extremely strong player in the market. So what is it about the drink which has lead to it's huge success?

Some energy drinks although they do the job don't always taste that pleasent. Let's face it who wants to drink something that brings a horrible taste to your mouth? Lucozade have got it spot on though, with a lovely flavoured drink which you would enjoy drinking even if you didn't need the energy. It's available in an orange flavour as well the original flavour which we have all come to love.

I found it invaluable when I've been ill with a flu or cold. It contains a lot of glucose which gives you that energy burst. As a result of this though it does contain a lot of sugar so probably isn't great in large quantities.

So although this is an enery drink of the highest quality, this comes at a price. A bottle will normally set you back around £2 but as it's something you wouldn't buy regularly, I think it's well worth it for when you need the extra burst of energy.
