Perfectly balanced sugar rush (Lucozade Sport)

Advantages: Tasty and gives good level of sugar

Disadvantages: Not as nice when warm

This is a tasty energy drink that I find useful to drink before, during or after exercise. It comes in three different flavours, orange, lemon and berry. Each of these flavours has a squash like taste to it, but notably the sort of taste when you get the amount of squash and water just right. Basically, these taste very good. My favourite is lemon, but the others are all great. I do find however5 that they are not as nice when warm, so ideally look to get one of these from a fridge or vending machine.

The sugar rush that these drinks provide feels to be a very well balanced amount. That is enough to make a difference, whilst not enough to be drastically unhealthy nor to be undrinkable before exercise because of the risk of stitches etc. I tend to buy one of these drinks when I go to the difference, and it certainly makes the gym more pleasant, making me feel both more alive and better hydrated.

Summary: Defintely give it a try if you do some form of exercise
