When it comes to the weekly shop I tend to do it on my own and I much prefer this as I have full control over what goes into the cupboards but this weekend my better half decided he was going to come with me and as he was in a better mood than normal the shopping took a lot longer to get done as he spent time browsing the aisles the result of which was this product getting added to the trolley. *~*Who are Lyons?*~* Lyons have been offering coffee perfection since 1904 using coffee beans from Central and South America for their quality and flavour. Lyons offer a Rainforest Alliance with their products which simply means that the farms that ... Read the complete review

I'm always more than happy to try out new products, especially when they're on offer and all the more so if I was going to buy a similar product in the first place. That's how I came to buy Lyon's coffee bags; a need for coffee and a special offer sealed my fate. I'd heard of coffee bags before and reaction to them had been positive but I'd not actually tried them. They seemed like a very good idea though. The coffee bags look rather like over-sized tea bags. To give you an idea of size they are about the diameter of the kind of mugs that are given away free in promotions. According to the packaging they are ideal for individual use whether at ... Whilst I like coffee, I'd hardly consider myself a coffee aficionado. I love the smell of freshly brewed coffee, yet I am content to drink good quality instant. Still, freshly brewed coffee at home is a treat. I'd heard about Lyons one-cup coffee bags. It turns out you can get a free sample (in fact, two free samples - there are two bags in the free sample pack - click here to get your own: http://www.coffeeperfection.com/our-coffee.php). I'm a sucker for free samples, so I filled in the e-form, and many weeks later (and I mean lots - maybe six weeks), these dropped through my letterbox. Each bag was enclosed in a foil envelope (presumably for ... Read the complete review

I got a sample of coffee bags from Lyons a few weeks ago but they looked horrible because the bag was so big but this morning we'd run out of coffee so I thought I might as well try one to see how good it worked. It's fresh coffee not instant and has been put into a big cheap looking tea bag and you just have to pour the water on it and let the bag stand for a few minutes to get what Lyons call a proper cup of coffee without going to the stress of getting the coffee machine out but that doesn't mean anything because I haven't got a coffee machine anyway and it's even quicker to use a good quality instant coffee! The bags don't smell very stong when they are ... Read the complete review

I am addicted to coffee having loved the taste as long as I can remember, but being pregnant I have had to cut down the amount that I drink so am limited to one cup a day. With that in mind I decided to try out these Lyons one cup fresh ground coffee sachets / bags. They are available from most supermarkets, (Asda, Tesco, Sainsburys) and are priced in my local shop at £1.89 for 18 bags. They come in both caffeinated and decaff versions (which is brilliant as I can have the real one to wake me up and a pretend coffee with my chocolate fix later in the day!) Lyons try to market themselves as a Rainforest Alliance company which means that ... Read the complete review
