Malibu Rum!! Absolutley Revolting!

I am definitely one of the hate club when it comes to Malibu. Malibu defiantly has a love/ hate fan club and I'm afraid I'm the latter club.

Malibi is a Caribbean run drink which is falvoured with coconut. I don't particularly like Rum, its bearable but not my favorite drink and I detest coconut. I first tried this drink many years ago but when I recently traveled to the Caribbean many of their drinks seems to be associated with Rum and coconut. I was very unhappy lol.

The drink itself is not as strong as other liquors and is around 21% in volume. It comes in a white bottle with a screw on lid. It is clear in taste and is usually sold as a short. You can add lemonade to it or fresh pineapple if you want an exotic taste. Malibu is described as being light and delicate on your pallet. I cannot comment on this as I just want to spit it out before I swallow it.

Malibu costs over 10 pounds in most shops for a bottle. If you have a local Aldi, you can get a similar product called Cocobay for around 4 pounds. Bargain for those out there who like this product. I only know this information as my dad is a Malibu Fan.

Give it a try, but definitely not one for those who do not like Coconut.
