Advantages: very moreish

Disadvantages: falling down water in excess

Marstons Pedigree Bitter is truly a beer drinker’s beer. Brewed in Burton on Trent using the traditional Burton Union Sets as opposed to stainless steel vats gives “Pedi” its unique flavour. The head should cling to the glass and remain throughout the pint.
It is very moreish and has a pleasant flavour not being too bitter to the palate. However it is easily spoilt by being kept incorrectly or served through “dirty” pipes and this effect is easily noticeable as a bad pint is very bad. No compromise can be made with this drink but when served and kept correctly will have you coming back for more.
