Advantages: none I can think of

Disadvantages: Nasty taste, nasty aftertaste

This is the coffee my mum always used to buy - not sure why then, when i moved out, i bought nescafe or kenco depending on my budget for that week!

Last week, however, due to a little overspending at christmas, I had a decidedly megre budget and noticed that maxwell house was half price - a normal price is currently £3.99 for 200g of coffee granules - Therefore I decided to get it

Coming in a large glass jar with a blue label round it the words Maxwell House are in large white lettering above a picture of a cup of coffee.

Manufactured by Kraft who claim this to be GOOD TO THE LAST DROP and Roasted to the heart.

I can only wholeheartedly DISAGREE!!!!

I know I am a little picky with coffee - I dont want a bitter aftertaste for one thing - but this was as diabolical as Tescos' own branded coffee!

With the best will in the world I could not force myself to drink a cup of this bitter after tasting, vile coffee - goodness knows what type of beans they use now - I'm sure I used to like this coffee so I am either more picky or it's gone severely downhill.

Lacking in quality, not particularly cheap when at full price, I really cannot reccomend this at all.

Sorry!!

Summary: If your on a budget - reduce your intake of coffee and go for a more expensive brand!
