Advantages: Everything, it's a really uplifting drink this one!

Disadvantages: None at all unless your watching your calorie intake

With trying to be healthy of late I've been looking around alot for anything that will benefit me and my health. This appealed as a drink cos not only do I love anything containing raspberry flavouring but also this clearly stated on the front of the bottle that this contained one of the five recommended five a day portions of fruit (or veg) a day! Seeming as most days I don't have any fruit or vegetables (due to a very poor and unhealthy diet!) this seemed a nice way of re-hydrating myself as well as doing my body some good at the same time!

The Packaging....

330ml long, good quality clear plastic bottle with a black plastic screw on/off cap to the top of it. Round the middle of the bottle there is a red and pink label with a photograph of dark red grapes ad raspberries to the front and I'm clearly told it's Minute Maid Red Grape & Raspberry Juice Drink which is made from concentrate 50% juice drink and is made to a new recipe and that there is no added sugar in it and an at a glace nutritional chart on there too. On the back of the bottle I'm told a bit about the product, nutritional information is given as are ingredients, contact details for Coca-Cola (the manufacturer of this product) are listed as is the size and finally there is a bar-code on there. Nice enough bottle which contains enough information on it to make an informed choice as to whether you want to drink it or not!

A Bit About The Product According To The Back Of The Bottle....

Red Grape & Raspberry juice drink counts as one of your five recommended daily portions of fruit and veg. What's more, it tastes great. Goodness and refreshment on the go.

The drink Itself....

Dark burgundy in colour and flat cos it's juice. When you pour it you can really smell the lovely sweet, and fresh raspberries however this tastes mainly of the red grapes really. It is delicious, thirst quenching and really tasty and quite thick with flavour and it isn't a watery offering. It manages to be naturally sweet in a sugary way (derived from the fruit) opposed to laced with any sweeteners and all round this is just a really rich and flavoursome and in my view grown up drink! It's lush!

Nutritional Information per 330ml Bottle....

Calories: 99 Kcal
Sugars: 23.9g
Fat: 0.0g
saturates: 0.0g
Salt: 0.0g

Available in all good supermarkets etc and expect to pay around 90p a bottle but do look out for it on offer and in other flavours!

Summary: Lovely taste of summer!
