I have found myself reaching for the odd larger tin of Energy drink thesedays. Perhaps it is more psychological as I don't think that these drinks really help me wake up any more but I still drink these for a change. I think the other brands in the 500ml tins (Relentless and Rockstar) are all much the same as this brand but I chop and change more so due to the price.

You can expect to pay anything up to £1.60 in most places where I stay for a tin of this, but my Poundworld stock a few different varieties - for the price of £1 strangely enough.

The tin design is alright. The branding is a M on the front and I think the design of the M looks a bit like an animal scratch but I think that is the idea.

So how do these drinks taste? Well I have drank the 1 that is on the picture on here and that one is more the original one. This tastes a bit like the drink Emerge and is a nice enough tasting Juice. I have just tried the Sugar free one which hasn't been out all that long and that just tastes like a watered down version - which I find is the usual taste when you go from normal to Sugar free. It's fine though.

Calorie wise these drinks aren't all that good for you. The Sugar free one is alright as it has 3 calories per 100ml so 15 calories per tin - I can live with that, but you are talking over 200 calories for the normal one so not great if you are trying to watch your calorie intake.

Do I find this wakes me up any more than normal? I wouldn't say so. It is just a nice drink to drink at the start of my working day at 7am and I hope that it helps me along the way.

A good Energy drink from a good brand.
