Surely I haven’t succumbed to get another gimmicky product, Gothiron can’t be that gullible, can she? The short answers are yes and no. Yes, I firmly believe that coffee in a can is a gimmick, No, this wasn’t an impulse buy. I had actively searched this out for 3 reasons: it’s freezing watching football, coffee in a thermos is vile and West Ham’s beverage providers have a unique perspective on delivery: battle through mass of seemingly gigantic men clutching lagers, wait forever to get a cup of Kenco Instant for £1.10, navigate way back to seat through said heaving throng who are determinedly ignoring frantic attempts of short, ... Picture the scene - a family birthday up North, me and my brother on our way up the motorway with my girlfriend in the back and a great weekend planned. Yep, the journey to the North was set to be a good 'un. My first motorway driving experience, the happy sounds of Jimmy Buffet on the radio and a smile on all 3 off our faces. Well up for fun. A stop. A quick pee and a KFC, a trip to the petrol station and then back on the road again for the 2nd leg of the journey. Hmmmm? What's this? Coffee in a can? Sounds good. Buy coffee. Activate. Scald all and sundry for the next 5 miles! Not, and let me ... Read the complete review

Just as you thought it was safe to read dooyoo...yes, after a long absence (in which my heart has grown fonder of dooyoo) I am back, and what better category to return to than food & drink after the excesses of the festive season. In fact it was the very buying of this product that had me yearning to write for dooyoo again after a very busy Autumn which saw me retire (gracefully I hope) as Sports guide and not write an opinion. As I wandered around the Co-op my eye was drawn to the large stand alone shelves advertising the new Nescafe Hot When Not coffee in a can. I must buy it...I must try it...I must dooyoo it... So I handed over my £1.20 ... Read the complete review

I purchases a couple of these nescafe hot drinks for a journey over to France and Belguim as I do long distance driving sometimes. I therefore thought I would try the revolutionary invention of the self heating coffee can which has been longly awaited for. I got two types, one coffee white with sugar, the other without sugar. I thought these would be handy although I still took a flask of coffee with me for the train journey on Eurotunnel. I personally class myself as a medium to heavy coffee drinker and I do love my coffee. My original expectations for this self heating can was quite high with the study into this can taking 3 or 4 years to get right. I ... Read the complete review

Coffee in a self heating can? What will they come up with next?! Something just as good I hope, if not better. I had heard quite a lot about this coffee in a can business by Nescafe and the other day while looking for a jar of coffee, I came across it, so I had to buy it didn't I! Even if it did cost me £1.16! I bought it just for the sake of the self heating can, to try it out, to see if it actually did work! I couldn' believe that all I had to do was push a button and the can would warm up without plugging it in or anything! So, I got me one. I went to my car and followed the instructions, which is basically, press the button in the middle of the ... Read the complete review
