Advantages: Very nice drink.
Disadvantages: Also gives you caffeine
I want to do this review, because Nescafe is my favourite coffee, you can keep all your super duper Mocky chocky latty frothy ground up grainy muddy-puddle tasting muck. Give me Original Nescafe Granules any day.
The coffee is made by Nestles of course, who are one of the worlds leading coffee importers. They actually blend this coffee from three different beans. You could do the same of course, if say your partner prefered Red Mountain, and you liked Nescafe, try mixing the two, you may be surprised at the taste!
Coffee should be made using hot water, not boiling, and the drink was originally taken with nothing added, nowadays though, most people prefer at least one sugar, and some milk. The choice of milk makes a difference to the tast too. As for sugar, the same applies, try soft brown or demerarra next time, it may make you think about changing the habit of a lifetime. On a lovely summer day, try an iced coffee, you may even like it!
You should also think about drinking your coffee from your favourite mug, and of course then decide what biscuit to have with it, this is your coffee break, drink it sitting down, and enjoy it.
The company was founded by Henry Nestle in 1868, the first factory opened in 1901. They sold condensed milk, and there is another suggestion for your next cuppa, The firm has now bought Rowntrees and introduced the Milky Bar way back in 1937.
These coffee granules are available all over the world, in recycleable glass jars, and larger tins. Prices vary by an enormous amount, but this stuff does tend to cost more than the average coffee. Only you can say whether it is worth it, It is in my opinion. All coffee contains caffeine, apart from the "De-caff" stuff, which we don't regard as coffee do we?
Nestle have a UK website, take a look for yourself:-
http://www.nestle.co.uk/Home
The "All about coffee" section is very interesting.
When you have finished this review, put the kettle on!
Summary: A great institution, and nice too.
