Nescafe Original - gone off the boil (Nescafe Original)

Disadvantages: New improved flavour has ruined the taste, bitter and greasy (the coffee, not me)

I love coffee, and being a coffee chav, I prefer instant over percolated, so Nescafe Original has always been a regular feature of my adult life. I don't have a particular favourite coffee brand, being of the opinion that they all taste one in the same really - and as long as I get my caffeine hit, I'm happy - but I recently tried a jar of the 'New Improved' Nescafe original and changed that opinion
Nescafe is part of the Nestle brand, which I know if enough to put some people off without even sampling them - and according to them, we Brits drink 15,000 cups of Nescafe every minute. Unfortunately with their 'New Improved' flavour, I'm no longer one of them.
The reason instant coffee has always appealed to me is because its quick, no faffing around with beans, filters or brewing - just boiling water, milk and you're done - so the fact that Nescafe Original no longer seems to dissolve completely when added to boiling water was my 1st complaint - I don't like bits in my coffee. Once stirred to the point of oblivion and with most of the coffee now dissolved - I drank it, and received my 2nd disappointment. It's always been a strong, smooth tasting coffee - and whilst its certainly still strong, it now tastes really bitter and has a greasy type aftertaste. I didn't finish that 1st cup - and 4 weeks on I still have a nearly full 200g jar sitting in the kitchen which is unheard of in this house.
So unless Nescafe return to their original 'unimproved' flavour, I'll be taking my coffee buying elsewhere
