I fell out of love with instant coffee about 5 years ago. It wasn't until i was visiting my mum a few months back that i had a cup of nescafe. I was surprised. The taste was actually very rich and aromatic. I am used to drinking fresh ground coffee and so i thought it would be vile. What made me think of buying myself it myself is that it takes such an effort to make a fresh coffee and sometimes there isn't time. You just add one teaspoon of nescafe and pour on boiling water, add milk and you have your coffee fix. For me it does not replace ground coffee and i dont think ever could taste the same but for instant nescafe is a great choice. Part of why i like it so much is that it reminds me of my childhood-my mum always made us milky coffees made with milk to cheer us up. I have tried other instants over the years when visiting peoples houses and i can say none have a patch on nescafe. When you first break the golden seal you are met with the most amazing smell. The coffee keeps this aromatic quality even when the jar has been open a while. The price is more expensive than say supermarket btands, a small jar of 100g costs £2.22. It is worth it though. I bought mine from my local supermarket but everyone stocks nescafe including local corner shops. A great 'new' find for me.
