Nescafe? Not Any More! (Nescafe Original)

I used to drink Nescafe all the time but swapped to Kenco when my mum was pregnant because she couldn't stand the smell of any of the Nescafe coffees.

Yesterday my local shop hadn't got any Kenco so I got one of the tiny 100g jars of Nescafe because I was gagging for a coffee and I remembered how much I used to love Nescafe.

Well, I don't anymore! I've been spoilt by the smooth flavour of Kenco and Nescafe just tastes second best now.

The granules stir easy into the boiling water and they didn't leave any black bits on the top of my drink, after I'd added the usual amount of sugar and milk I was surprised by how bitter and one dimensional the coffee smelled.

I had a sip and didn't enjoy it half as much as I thought I would. When i first discovered coffee I drank Nescafe and nothing else so didn't have anything to compare it to, but since giving it up for my mum (the sacrifices I make!) I have tried loads of different coffees and now I can say Nescafe is one of the most bitter and deffo the hardest to drink despite it being mega expensive.

I can taste a proper weird chocolate flavour to it and that's not as good as it sounds because I think it makes my cup of coffee seem thick to drink even though it's not. It's not that rich either and I thought it was so bitter that after half a cup I didn't want any more.

It's weird because so many people love Nescafe but compared to kenco I can't see why because it's such an inferior coffee that you're deffo paying for the name and not the taste or quality.

Sorry Nescafe, I don't love you any more!
