Nestle Aero Chocolate Drink

This drink is a chocolate lovers dream. I like hot chocolate but this is something else. This is the best hot chcolate I have tasted for a while.

Aero is traditionally known as a bar of chocolate and has now been introduced as a chocolate drink (approx Oct 2005). It comes in two flavours, original chocolate and a hint of mint. Both are delicious.

This drink is available in two packages-
Firstly a carboard box (brightly coloured with the traditional Aero logo)with 4 individual sachets of hot chcolate each containing 24 grams. The sachets are well sealed keeping the powder fresh and are easy to open, meaning no mess! (because the box is carboard it can get wet in the kitchen, possible drawback)
and
Secondly a 12 serving plastic jar. Again this well packaged and good for family consumption. It also allow you to make your drink weaker or stronger than directed.

Making the drink could not be easier. You add the sachet of powder to your mug (or the required amount from the jar), add boiling water (I use hot milk instead) stir well and your drink is ready. I have spotted Aero in catering sized tins in my local coffee shop but am unsure of the price or where they can be purchased

The taste is great, it has a slightly bubbly very chocolatey taste that brings a smile to my face. I often give the kids this as a treat before bedtime with some marshmallows on top. This reminds me of my childhood.

Nutritiously the drinks (24gram sachet) contains 99kcals and 2.7grams of fat. This in my opinion is ok as the taste is so good it almost justifies that fat. Once consumed it feels like you have has a proper chocolate fix.

Overall I think this is a great tasting, easy to make product that I would reccomend
