Advantages: Great taste, nutritional with lots of vitamins, easy to open container, fun for kids

Disadvantages: A bit pricey

I know Nesquik milkshakes are generally more for kids, and I used to drink it when I was younger, but I just can't seem to get out of the habit. I absolutely love it! I used to drink the strawberry and toffee milkshakes when I was little but they stopped making the toffee one and I remember actually crying about it and I think I even wrote a letter and sent it to Nesquik! After I recovered from my devastation, my mum introduced me to the banana flavour shake. I have to admit that I hate the fruit bananas. Everything about them, the smell, the taste, makes me want to gag and my mum used to have to pay me to make me eat them! But like a few banana flavoured things, this Nesquik banana milkshake doesn't really taste like banana and so I'm perfectly happy to drink it. In fact, I think I may be addicted. Every time I have toast for breakfast in the morning I have to have a pint glass of banana milkshake with it. If I don't have any milkshake in the house, I can't have any toast.

The milkshake powder comes in a 300g bright yellow sort of oval shaped container. On the front is the signature Nesquik logo, along with the Nesquik bunny holding a glass of the banana milkshake. The container clearly states that the flavour is banana as well as important nutritional information. It has an easy pull-off lid with a rip-off paper lid inside.

I love milk anyway and drink a lot of it just by itself but Nesquik adds a great sweet flavour to it that I end up chugging down quicker than a glass of water. The powder doesn't turn the milk very yellow so don't go thinking that you've not put enough in and add loads more until it's a bright yellow colour because you'll have added way too much and it'll taste far too sweet.

It's a little pricey at £1.69 (in Asda) for a 300g pack when you can buy an Asda branded milkshake for £1 for 350g, but I think it's worth it and I'm sure I'll always have it in my shopping basket.

Directions on pack:
Eagerly pour the milk into a glass. With a smile on your face, add 2-4 teaspoons of Nesquik to the taste you like (we think 3 teaspoons is best). Try not to jump up and down in excitement as you stir it up and ... gulp ... now you can enjoy the scrummy yumminess of Nesquik.
