Advantages: Great taste, not to high in calories.
Disadvantages: The smell of the powder is not to inviting.
I purchased my 300g tub of Nesquik Strawberry from £1.17 (normally £1.72) when I did some shopping earlier this week.
This product is packaged in a yellow plastic tub complete with a bunny on the lid and a paper label all around the pot which shows the Nesquik logo and a bunny holding a glass of milkshake being mixed (the same as the photograph above).
Upon opening the box you are not met with the most pleasant of smells and it did not smell particularly like strawberries to be honest.
To mix the drink you should measure out your powder first and then add the milk and use a spoon or a whisk to mix the drink.
15g is mixed with 200ml of semi-skimmed milk and this contains 154 calories per serving.
Sometimes I find that you have to mix a little more of the strawberry powder with your milk to get just the right taste.
Nesquik is fortified with vitamins (including Vitamin D) and coupled with the milk that you use to make the drink this can be a fairly nutritious drink for you or your young ones.
I personally use about 20-25g of milk per 200ml and I always use semi-skimmed or skimmed milk. I find that this is just the right amount of flavouring for me to want to drink milk (I'm not the biggest fan!) & I don't know any children who aren't fans of this drink!
The product contains no artificial colours, sweeteners or preservatives.
There are lots of other products in the Nesquik range which are great for encouraging children to drink milk.
This definitely helps me get my daily recommend serving of calcium and vitamin D.
Summary: I would recommend this product for young kids and adults alike!
