Just before Christmas I got to try a beer again, down in my local Wetherspoons (the Portland Hotel in Chesterfield), that I hadn't had in a while. I love beers from the brewery that produces it (my review of JHB illustrates this) and I was anxious to get a pint or two in to see if it was as good as I remembered. Thankfully I needn't have worried ~ the Oakham Ales Bishops Farewell was on excellent form! Then, funnily enough, we went along to the Sheaf View (a great Real Ale pub just outside Sheffield) and there it was again! ~~~THE BREWERY.
