Oksamitove means velvet and it's the smooth velvety texture that gives the beer its name, it's a very dark colour - like that of Dandelion & Burdock and has a rich caramel smell to it when poured.
Although I can tell that it's a smooth well made beer, it's a little bit too sweet for my liking but I do believe that this beer would be loved by someone who likes the sickly malt caramel angle of some beers. Oksamitove contains 5.3% alcohol....moreMore Obolon drinks

Obolon is a Ukrainian brewery from the Obolon district of Kiev, they have an enormous range of beers, all of which are available in Ukraine and a fair amount in neighbouring countries, plus countries with a high proportion of Ukrainian workers such as Greece, Spain and Portugal or immigrants such as USA and Canada.
