East of Krakow), his son later inherited the business and married a Polish aristocrat, it remained in the Gotz-Okocimski family until after WW2 when it was nationalised. After the fall of communism it was privatised again and is currently owned by Carlsberg.
So what's good about this beer, I hear you asking? The can or bottle is nothing particularly special, a brown bottle with a green label with the words Okocim on it in a red background surrounded by golden medals, a similar styled can but without the brown obviously.

I've never seen this on tap in the UK but plenty in bottles and in Poland you have to go out of your way to find it in a can or a bottle but is almost ubiqutous on tap! Okocim is actually one of my favourites and is deservedly one of the most well known Polski beers. Like many breweries of age, Okocim has a bit of a history.
