I'm not a huge hot chocolate consumer, especially in these (currently roasting) hot Summer months. I also think that, unless you buy top quality brands, hot chocolate out of a tin can be very ropey, and taste like you're drinking soil poured into a cup. Still, these Options sachets, at a cheap 25p a packet (and far cheaper if you buy them in multipacks), have caused me to re-evaluate my opinion somewhat, for it appears Options have done what I long thought impossible.

Making the hot chocolate is exceedingly simple - just pour the sachet of powder into a mug, then pour hot milk into the mug and stir until it becomes a consistent liquid that's delicious and ready to drink! Unlike so many of the other watery and horrible hot chocolates, this closely resembles the real deal instead, and I was impressed that, considering its cheap price, it was not only decent but actually genuinely delicious! There are numerous flavours, such as normal, orange and mint - the orange is probably my favourite, and to boot, they're only 35 calories per sachet (not including the milk, of course). For a quick, cheap, and tasty hot chocolate, this is without a doubt the way to go.
