Advantages: Chocolate orange flavour, bit different, nice enough

Disadvantages: Wouldn't really recommend for those on diets but not creamy enough for those not on diets!

I've been a little absent from Dooyoo as late, which isn't good, I miss you guys! With everything that's been going on in my "real" life, I've barely had time to do everything I need to, let alone write any reviews. I will definitely get around to reviewing everything on my up and coming list, and if there is anything you particularly want to read about (if you're planning to buy) then let me know and I'll try to make it a priority.

However for this review at least I'm abandoning the list, and telling you all about chocolate orange hot chocolate - mmm yummy! Basically because, it's much quicker to write about than my beauty reviews which can be quite time consuming, and also because I'm enjoying a cup right now, so why not live the experience with you!

I've been wanting to try the many different "Options" for a while now, in particular the Turkish Delight one, but alas they didn't have that flavour so I found myself with three sachets; Chocolat Orange, White Chocolate, and Toffee Chocolate. At 25p each, it's not too bad, although to be fair it's just for one drink, but hey, by writing about it you can actually make a profit from drinking a cup of this - bonus!

With all hot chocolate's I never find them sweet enough, if you think I'm weird for this, then disregard what I am about to say - but I didn't find this sweet enough! It's about the same sweetness as all hot chocolates so you should know whether it will be sweet enough for you based on that. I however added two spoons of sweetner and then it was just right.

To make it it's really easy - simply pour the sachet (which was easy to open) into a cup and add water that has been boiled but cooled slightly (a little annoying but hey it avoids the usual burnt tongue I normally get from hot chocolate - I can never wait for it too cool down!!). I simply let the water stand in the kettle for a while and then poured it into the cup with the powder and stirred. It all mixed together nice and easily and didn't all just stay in the bottom of the cup - which I hate!

Smell wise it just smelt initially like normal hot chocolate so I was a little disappointed at first. However when I tasted it, it definitely was a chocolate orange taste. It wasn't too over powering, but was just a lovely blend that wasn't sickly but was really nice, the balance is just right.

Due to it supposedly being for people who like to watch their weight it is quite watery. Well, I guess as watery as tea or coffee or anything made with...water! It would have been absolutely delicious had it been creamier but it was still very nice none the less.

Getting back to the weight watching side of things, this has 0.8g fat and 33 calories. Now obviously it's not a huge amount of fat or calories, but I think if you were dieting you'd be absolutely crazy to have one of these. For 0.8g of fat you could have half a tin of beans or soup and there are plenty of drinks with no fat whatsoever in - so why anyone dieting would drink this is beyond me. The same calorie wise - there's plenty of calorie free or virtually calorie free drinks out there so I wouldn't choose this if I was dieting, but if you are a complete chocaholic it would be a better option than having a chocolate bar of course. For those not dieting though, this part is all a bit irrelevant.

All in all I enjoyed my drink, it was just sweet enough when I added sweetner but wasn't so sweet that it was sickly, the blend of chocolate and orange tasted gorgeous and was just the right balance without being too overpowering, and it's lovely and warming too.

The freak nice weather we had here this weekend is long gone and it's really cold here now, so it would be nice to have these in for when you come in out of the cold. It isn't something I would drink regularly, and it is quite a pointless intake of fat and calories but it's nice once in a while. That said, it's not luxury enough to feel like a real treat once in a while, so I guess it falls somewhere in between.

At 25p a drink it would be an expensive habit if you was to drink these regularly, but for something a bit different now and then on those cold days it's really not too bad.

I didn't absolutely love it, but then there was nothing bad about it either. It was a really nice drink, just not a luxury one.

Summary: Not my favorite Option, but very nice!

I like the White Chocolate one best. xx

We're obviously made differently; I find all hot chocolates to be too sweet and can only drink pure cocoa (without sugar). Not an option for me then.

I like OPtions overall, but not so keen on the orange one.
