Advantages: dinky little packet
Disadvantages: the taste!
Sometimes it's good to have a change. There's nothing that helps me to sleep at night if I'm having trouble nodding off than a cup of hot chocolate. I've been very loyal to cadburys over all these years but I thought to myself, let's take a walk on the wild side!
Options have a variety of flavoured hot chocolate drinks, you may have seen the pretty annoying advert on the telly recently. All ranging from coconut, vanilla and toffee to banana, mint and hazelnut. Being in an adventurous mood I opted for the white chocolate and the belgian chocolate ones.
Everybody can make this drink- one cup, (top tip, don't use a great big mug otherwise you'll have no taste at all), hot water, and sugar if you have a bit of a sweet tooth like myself.
So following the instructions on the side of the packet, like you do, I poured in the water making sure to stir at the same to avoid powdery lumps at the bottom. Then onto the tasting!!
I have never tasted such an abismal thing in all of my life concerning hot drinks. It was as if the creaters had simply gotten a cup of water and then added the white powder paint I used to use at school. After having a couple of sips and nothing had changed I presumed that maybe it was just me. So I let another member of my family have a go. They too, were unimpressed. Adding a bit of sugar did not give any improvement, if anything it tasted worse.
No, I was not using a mug, it was a pretty small cup to be honest but that did nothing. Sadly it was a wasted 25p I spent on my little sachet [one I will never get back again!:) ]
Despite the fact that it was so cheap and appareantly there's hardly any calories I think I might be sticking with my cadburys from now on. Not something I'd recommend to anybody, not even my worst enemy.
