This is what the infusion guide on the side of the box says, but I like to leave the bag in until the cup is empty! (That could be 5 to 10 minutes, as I have to let it cool so that it does not scold me.) Absolutely delicious!! PACKAGING. The fruit teabags are sealed in a foil bag (20 of them. No strings attached.) inside a cardboard box. This box is silver coloured with writing in blue, apart from the London Fr...more

Since this category is just called 'other fruit teas, I'm gonna tell you right now, that I've only written about one. Marks & Spencers, Lemon Fruit & Herbal Teabags. 99p for 20 I’m a coffee fiend, and a bit of a tea monster too. So for one bizarre reason or another, I’ve set myself the task of going without either for a week. Why? You may ask, well here’s the deal. Lately I’ve been feeling a bit run-down, had quite a lot on at work, and have been drinking WAY too much coffee and tea throughout the day so I thought I would try and give my body a bit of a rest from caffeine and try to establish the sleeping ...  Read the complete review

Crowned Review London Fruit and Herb Teas (809 words)

THE LONDON FRUIT & HERB Company make a large variety of fruit teabags, which are naturally caffeine free. They are also free from artificial preservatives and free from artificial colours. Each bag contains: just 4 calories; a trace of protein; 1.0g of carbohydrate, of which sugars are 0.4g; a trace of fat; a trace of fibre and 0.1g of sodium. I have always drunk the traditional English tea, ever since I was very young, although I would never have sugar in it (weird really, as I have a very sweet tooth). Before I could explain things properly, I used to tell my Mum that the tea was too hot. So when I still said it was ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Other Fruit Teas: Twinings exotic fruit infusions  (507 words)

I've tried many different types of herbal and fruit teas over the years, and most of them have been lacking one way or another. Many smell great when they're infusing in the cup, but taste of absolutely nothing at all. Others leave a nasty tang in your mouth, or develop an unattractive scum on the top after a couple of minutes in hot water. At long last, I've come across a delicious selection of fruity teas to get me through a long day at work, and help me get over my caffeine addiction! **** PACKAGING Twinings Exotic selection fruit infusions comes in a pretty orange box adorned with scrumptious looking pictures of fruit and ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Well, a lemon's a fruit innit?! (380 words)

Initially I was a bit dubious about using this category because the other contenders within it appeared to be exotic little numbers whereas I am about to write about a jar of rather less sophisticated instant tea - however it is lemon tea and that's fruit, so I guess it qualifies! "Lift" Instant Lemon Tea to be precise. Now this stuff has been around for hundreds and thousands of years, well maybe not quite that long, but I can remember my Nan making it for my Mum on visits when I was a nipper which is going back a good *whisper* 25 years or so. I bought the reduced sweetness variety, in an attempt to be slightly virtuous, whilst looking ...  Read the complete review

I'll have a cup of tea and a slice of cake-as Wurzel Gummidge would say!! Brits we must be the worse tea drinkers. We(us brits) think a nice cup of tea will solve everything-just look at pauline fowler from eastenders! When we here bad news, have a friend round, feeling tired and worn out, fed up - what do we do - yes you've guessed it we stick the kettle on. Now things are much more interesting and we have a wide variety of teas to choose from. Fruit teas are a great alternative to the traditional cuppa! New flavours are popping up all the time and it seems that every possible fruit is now included. We started off with the choice of ...  Read the complete review
