... extremely refreshing and compliments the cranberry juice very well, sometimes cranberry juice can be dry but this still captures the flavour of the cranberry juice and brings it to life. - 1/3 passoa 1/3 Apple juice 1/3 cranberry juice - This was my least favourite combination as it was almost too many flavours in one I would probably swap the apple juice for orange juice for a more tropical complimentary flavour. We tried a few different cominations ourselfs. we had it with lemonade this makes it taste like a fant...more

Crowned Review ~~The Passoa Test~~ (958 words)

I discovered Passoa about 5 years ago when a bar I used to drink in ran out of Malibu. How on earth could they run out of my favourite summer drink I thought, then they suggested I try this new spirit Passoa which came in an interesting black bottle with yellow, orange and red writing and decor on it. They said that if I liked fruity drinks and drinks like Malibu, Archers and Blue Bols that I would probably like this. Always willing to give anything a go I didn't take much persuading. Indeed Passoa is syrupy and a yellowy/ orange colour with a very sweet taste which reminds me of summertime and sitting outside of a bar in the sunset! Passoa was actually ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Reminds me of Summer (372 words)

I tried this for the first time the other week. Me and my girlfriends had organised an Ann Summers party and I was in charge of getting the alcohol so I went to Asda's and bought this drink called Passoa. I was very enticed by the Black mysterious looking bottle and the tropical looking. It was only £10.07, and on the back it had 3 different recipies to try which I thought was great considering I had never had any before and therefore I wouldn't know how to serve it. It is 17% alcohol which is not too weak but not to strong, it makes it weak enough to be able to drink it on its own. Opening the bottle to smell it was excellent it smelt divine very ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Passoa: Alcoholic Fanta Fruit Twist! (368 words)

I first tried Passoa over 3 months ago now after being asked to get it for a friend while the bar was busy, so I sampled it before I gave it to them and though hmm that's nice. Until Friday I hadn't touched it again. I only came about drinking it on the Friday because they were out of my first 3 choices! Passoa is a passion fruit alcoholic beverage. It's not weak nor strong at 17% ABV, and is a liqueur that tastes nice by itself or mixed. The only thing I could compare the taste to would be a flat alcoholic Fanta Fruit Twist, but the 'flatness' can be taken away when mixed with lemonade. Like all alcoholic drinks, when drank by itself you can ever ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Passion or Passion Fruits? (870 words)

So I like alcohol, doesn't everyone? Well maybe not, some people hate it but they won't be reading this to decide what to drink instead just because they like to read, so Hi to you teetotallers as well as you drinkers out there. Passoa, its not a commonly found drink in the UK, in fact I have seen in just one bar in Edinburgh over a year ago (Q Bar) and then again on the shelf in Asda when I was looking for something different to drink other than my usual vodka - I finally emptied my 3ltr Smirnoff bottle and really don't think I can face vodka for a few weeks now! Sorry thats not really relevant but I'll carry on now. Passoa is usually seen in Passionfruit ...  Read the complete review

****Passoa**** I first came across this drink when i was out one night and the bar i was in didn't have any malibu. **Bottle** This comes in a sleek black bottle with the name of it in yellow/orange and red.The bottle does look really nice and if i had seen this in a shop before i had tried it i would have picked it up . **Taste** This has a passion fruit taste with alcohol. When you drink it theres no mistaking its alcoholic. It is rather strong and i don't know of any one who would drink this on its own,it is always drunk with something else. recipe ideas passoa and orange-1/3p 2/3 orange 1/3 pass, 2/3 ...  Read the complete review
