As anyone who has read my beer reviews will know by now I am a big fan of supporting my local breweries. I live in Derbyshire and until recent times local breweries were a bit thin on the ground. In the past couple of years there has been a positive boom in the amount of brewers who have set up around where I live. These include Thornbridge Hall, Spire and, the subject of this review, Peak Ales. Not being one to stem their creative flow I have made it my selfless task to taste as many local beers as I can.
