In terms of soft drinks, Pepsi has to be one of the best known brands of cola or soft drinks available, and also probably one of the nicest. As well as regular and diet Pepsi, you can also buy 'Pepsi Max', which has been available for about 6 years.

Some people may argue that Pepsi is inferior to Coca-Cola, which may be true, but then again others prefer the taste of Pepsi. 'Pepsi Max' is regular Pepsi without sugar, so I suppose it is better, even though most soft drinks are bad for you!

'Pepsi Max' has a nice sweet taste, but you can definitely tell there is something missing from the taste. As with virtually all soft drinks, I always prefer to drink them chilled, as there's probably nothing worse (in drink terms) than warm cola! It does also say on the label it is 'best served chilled'.

The label of 'Pepsi Max' is pretty distinctive; it has a pale blue and black background with the red, white and blue Pepsi logo and 'Max' written in big red letters next to it. Pepsi Max, as with many fizzy drinks, is available in 330ml cans, 500ml bottles, and 2 litre bottles. All should be widely available from shops everywhere.

The taste of 'Pepsi Max' is nice, but as I mentioned above, it's definitely lacking the taste of sugar that most other soft drinks, except diet varieties, have to them. It also doesn't really smell of anything much, except that distinctive cola smell, and is a dark brown/black colour with bubbles. Taking a sip, and it tastes nice and sweet, and fizzes in your mouth.

'Pepsi Max' contains mostly carbonated water, colours, sweeteners, caffeine, and flavourings. It also contains no fat.

A 500ml bottle of 'Pepsi Max' costs about 70p, a 330ml can will cost you about 50p, a
nd a 2-litre bottle cost around £1.29. You can also buy six-packs of can too. I prefer to buy the 500ml bottle, as it is just right for one person, and needn't be drunk all in one go, as you can seal it up with the lid, unlike cans.

Overall, I'm not that keen on soft drinks, but 'Pepsi Max' is a nice drink that most people would like, if you have not already tried it, obviously! The fact that it doesn't have any sugar makes it more appealing if you don't like soft drinks because they are loaded with sugar and are bad for you. I would definitely buy 'Pepsi Max' again, but not too often, as I tend not to drink soft drinks much anymore. :-)
