I have been drinking both coca cola and Pepsi for years and used to always favour Coca Cola out of habit. I had never really noticed a difference between the two beverages as the taste is almost the exact same. However I have recently been buying Pepsi more often than coke as it tends to be cheaper or on some type of offer. It has became my favourite rather than Coca Cola, this is because the taste is more refreshing and yummy tasting,it saves me more money. The taste of this drink is amazing as its ever been, this is best served ice cold. I feel like Pepsi tastes and feels more refreshing than coca cola does. This tasty drink goes with any meal or type of food. I would definitely recommend this product to my friends and family. This drink is already popular in the United Kingdom due to the great taste and is one of the most popular brand along with Coca Cola. I really like that this drink is very fizzy which is a change from my normal coffee. The bright blue packaging is eye catching and appealing, the colour stands out which is cool. The simple packaging is something I really like about this drink. I would use this drink if having a party or get together because I think almost everybody enjoys the taste of this refreshing drink. I drink this beverage almost everyday because even though water is hydrating, this has a much better taste.
I never really noticed there was a difference between Coke and Pepsi and would generally buy Coke out of habit. I only actually bought and tried Pepsi as it was on offer one day so thought I would get those and save a few pennies. Since then I would always pick Pepsi where there was a choice as I much prefer it now.
One of the things I like about it is kind of hard to explain but when I am drinking it Pepsi it a little "softer" than Coke whilst still being really fizzy. I find the taste nicer too although it is a little sweeter than other alternatives and whilst it's hard to explain exactly how it tastes different it does seem to have less of an artificial after-taste. On a hot day or when you've been working hard, it's a very refreshing drink to pull out of the fridge and relax with.
It also comes in a range of sizes - either in bottles or cans - and multi=packs make it good value for money. Bottles range from 250ml to 2 litres so you can have a resealing bottle in sizes to suit all occasions. Cans are usually 330ml but I recently discovered a multi-pack of 250ml cans. I bought these by accident and only noticed the special offer price of £2.50 (usually £4.99) for 12 cans so was a little surprised when I pulled the first one out. However once I had them I could see how this size would be fantastic at Christmas as it's the perfect amount for mixing with spirits. It is also a much better can for my 10 year old, who is very rarely allowed to drink it.
It also comes in regular, diet and max. Having looked into it I believe the amount of aspartame in the diet and max varieties differ slightly and the max has absolutely no sugar trace in it. Having tried both I found I liked the max slightly better but you can't beat the full sugar taste. I don't drink it too often so I don't worry about it having 142 calories in a 330ml can.
It's one of those versatile drinks that can be enjoyed on its own, mixed with a variety of spirits or can just have a touch or lemon or lime added to give it a little something extra.
