Peroni is a very high quality lager and is certainly one of my favourites. It tends to be fairly affordably priced, though it is often just a bit more than Becks and Budweiser. It is difficult to describe Peroni, other than it is quite similar to becks but it tastes a bit stronger and maltier. For these reasons if you are not really a beer drinker then perhaps this isn't the drink for you. However if you like your lagers then I would definitely recommend Peroni. I cannot comment on pints, but it is certainly good from the bottle as long as it is chilled. This leads onto some words of warning, though the 660ml bottles of Peroni look pretty cool, ... I love beer, especially imported beer.
I’ve tried just about everything I can get my hands on from breweries all
over the world. And so, far my hand subconsciously reaches for this beer.

I'm not really a beer or lager drinker, preferring a rich red or very dry white wine. However last year I was introduced to Nastro Azzuro by Peroni whilst having a meal in an Italian restaurant. Since then, I have enjoyed it as an alternative to my favourite tipple. WHY DO I LIKE IT? This Italian lager has a very clean, malty taste. It is pale, straw gold in colour and is very dry - perhaps too dry for some. During this year's dry and relatively hot summer, I have found it exceptionally refreshing.
