Advantages: Many different types and choices
Disadvantages: Expensive
PG tips provide a huge variety of teas, which is good as the majority of the British love a good brew!
Here follows the assortment of teas available from the famous PG Tips
* Loose tea - very much the traditional tea drinkers choice! Probably one of the more flavoursome teas available and definitely makes a stronger brew than most tea bags! It can though take a while for the flavour to infuse when using tea leaves, but this is probably the only downside - £1.35 for a 250gm tub
* One cup tea - the name seems pretty pointless to me. Designed to make a single cup of tea (surely we all use one tea bag per cup. Though they do make a tasty cup of tea (probably down to the fact that that's what they are aimed to make)! This is PG Tips in every way! Tasty down to the last mouthful (ooh might have to pop the kettle on now)!
* Freeze dried - this version tastes quite frankly disgusting! Absoloutely no flavour compared to tea bags or tea leaves! For £2.19 for 40g of the stuff its a complete rip off - steer clear of this horrible tea (if you can all it tea)!
* D-CAf - surprisingly tasty considering it contains no caffeine! I quite enjoyed this cup of tea! Full of that PG tips flavour - though at about £130 for 40 teabags I think its a tad exspensive, but of courzse they are better for you than the caffinated sort! NOT BAD!
* Pyramid bags - I used to think that the pyramid bag was just a gimmick - but that is all we ever have in the house now! Definitely lets off a stronger flavour and brews much quicker than the normal teabag shape! A lovely cup of tea! Not a bad price either (especially if you are a true good tea lover)! The top end price is £3.99 for 240 teabags down to 79p for 40! I would definitely recommend buying the larger pack because they soon disappear in my house and work out cheaper if you buy a bigger box!
tea is thought to be bad for you but remember it is packed full of cancer preventing antioxidents just don't drink too many cups of tea a day but a few cups is definitely good for you
Right I'm off to make a nice cup of pyramid tea now! Yummy!
Summary: Hmmmm Lovely
