My hubby and I were visiting old friends in Cheshire last weekend and took them out for a meal to a superb pub near Crewe called 'The White Lion.' The venue was suggested by our friends so we all piled into a taxi to have a few beers and a slap up meal. On arrival our friend Ted asked me if I would like a 'Piddle in the Wind' before studying the menu, I was a bit taken aback because although he has a sense of humour he isn't normally so outright.
