Powerade is one of the drinks available to you if you are in need of an isotonic sports drink in order to keeep your energy levels up and get rehydrated during any physical activity you may be doing especially sport. It can be used before ,during or after any kind of sporting activity. It has been around since 1988 and is manufactured by the coca cola company curently.

It is the drink of a number of sports teams and its spokespersons include Wayne Rooney, Le Bron James and Venus Williams.

Like its main competitor, Gatorade, Powerade is made with sugar syrups and salt which gives it a relatively sweet taste.

The bottle is designed to be easy to grip and hold on to and drink from. It is more shallow in the middle so the drink can be squeezed out from the middle to the top. At the top there is a spout which can be pushed up to drink and pushed down to close and comes with lid to cover it.

The berry and tropical fruits flavour with its distinct bright blue colour is probably the most tasty flavour in the powerade range in my opinion anyway. It is also quite refreshing and does help to provide a bit of an energy boost when you get dehydrated playing sport. It is though quite sugary and you can taste this but if you like that sort of thing like alot of people it is good. I use it quite often and would recommend it if you like a sweet tasting isotonic sports drink.

It comes in a 500ml bottle and is priced around £1 although buying a multipack would work out cheaper.
