*** thankyou to everyone for the 'get well soon messages - much appreciated *** I've been suffering with a chest infection & pneumonia for the past 4 weeks - is there no end lol? Having been told to rest & drink lots of liquids I've been trying out various drinks other than coffee/tea/water to add some excitement to my life. The Princes Pure Orange Juice normally seems to be sold in 1 litre cartons for around the £1 mark but can often be seen on offer. The packaging is smart & the freshly cut oranges on the pack make it look inviting. The carton has a plastic flip-open top which means the contents remain fresh as long as stored in the ... Recently I reviewed Tesco Value Orange and I commented that it was the juice of choice in my home, mainly based on price; we're cheapskates in our house! Now what's happened, my wife came home last week with four cartons of Princes Pure Orange Juice. Does that make a liar out of me? But wait a minute, there's good reason for the switch this stuff was on offer "buy one get one free" which made it £1.07 for two or 53.5P per litre. Great that's less than the current price for the value stuff. Shows you must not assume a "Value Range" product is always the cheapest option, use your head work out the best deal on the day. Comes in a more ... Read the complete review

We all drink orange juice in our house, but we normally buy it based on price rather than quality. I find that orange juice rarely varies when it is in its simplest form of just the juice, whether it's Tesco's own Value orange juice, or one of the other cheaper brands. Occasionally at Tesco, a more expensive product is on offer, and this week, Princes Pure Orange Juice was on a buy one get one free offer at the price of £1.07 for a litre carton, which actually makes it a couple of pence cheaper per carton when you compare it to the Value price. So, I picked up four of them. The carton is a tall one, meaning it's slimmer and fits better in the fridge ... Read the complete review

I am a regular drinker of squashes and I like nothing more than a nice glass of fruit juice in the morning as it makes a nice change. The carton is a standard fruit juice carton and it has a flip top lid and a foil seal (good to see it's not been tampered with!). It is recyclable as well which is another plus point. The juice has had all of its pulp removed and is very smooth. It's bright orange in colour (as you'd probably expect) and tastes like oranges without being too bitter. It has quite a sweetness to it and I find one small glass to be more than enough for me in the mornings as I normally can't stomach breakfast (yes, I know it's the most ... Read the complete review

This juice never seems to last very long in my house. No sooner am I opening the wonderfully designed square plastic lid than it's empty. My children drink this juice every morning and I have had no complaints - no "there's bits in this" or "this juice tastes funny" and so it is worth every penny just for the peace of mind it gives me first thing in the morning. Right back to the lid, when you first open the carton there is a foil enclosure which needs to be removed - this can somethimes rip in the wrong place and so you are left with just the stub and the carton isn't opened - so scissors are employed. The carton can ... Read the complete review
