Advantages: Good consistency, no bits
Disadvantages: The foil seal sometimes rips in the wrong place
This juice never seems to last very long in my house. No sooner am I opening the wonderfully designed square plastic lid than it's empty.
My children drink this juice every morning and I have had no complaints - no "there's bits in this" or "this juice tastes funny" and so it is worth every penny just for the peace of mind it gives me first thing in the morning.
Right back to the lid, when you first open the carton there is a foil enclosure which needs to be removed - this can somethimes rip in the wrong place and so you are left with just the stub and the carton isn't opened - so scissors are employed.
The carton can be resealed nicely using the plastic lid and whilst not being totally juice - tight it will stop it all spilling out if it is momentarily knocked over.
The juice itself is made from concentrate like many of this type of juice - but even so it tastes OK. The consistency is just right, so it seems like a juice and is not too syruppy. A standard 100ml is only 42 calories and provides 33% of your recommended daily allowance of vitamin C.
I buy this from costco in a case of about 10 cartons which works out at about about 80p or so a carton.
The only thing I used to dislike was the packaging as there was no where locally which would recyle the tetra pak but now our local collections take this form of packaging so I can feel less guilty
Summary: A good quality orange juice
