It's that time of year when the nights are closing in, and all you want to do is to sit in front of the TV with a plate of stodgy comfort food. In an effort to avoid falling into this trap, and piling on the pounds, I bought some detox tea from pukka. Pukka teas are a blend of herbs, designed to taste great, and to get to work on your system. This particular tea is designed to help your digestive system, and it's slightly diuretic too, hence the detox element. First impressions were that the packaging is a bit of a genius job. I'm addicted to tea, herbal tea especially. I'm always on the lookout for that one herbal tea that tastes as good as it smells. In my eternal search, that is how I came across Pukka Detox tea - with aniseed, fennel and liquorice. It won a great taste gold award in 2008 (well that is what the sticker said) so I had high hopes for it. I bought it for around £2 at Holland and Barrett.
