... hearty Czech meal or as a quick refreshner whilst walking in the Czech heat of the summer. Widely available throughout Czech Republic but in particularly it's home area and the capital Praha. I personally would recommend the Premium over the Original and don't really see the point in them having two rather similar beers with one a little worse, I guess it's all about opinions though. Pale yellow beer with quite a bit of carbonation and a very unoffensive taste when from the pump, otherwise a tad soapy/tinny....more

Radegast Original is the lighter-weight version (4.0%) of Radegast Premium which I reviewed earlier in the month. Brewed in Moravia, close to the Slovak and Polish border there is a subtle difference between the Original and the Premium, that being that the body is a bit light-weight and watery. It seems to firm up a bit when drank from the pump and the true taste comes out where as in the can it seems a bit tinny and in the bottle a bit soapy.
