Bit pricey for a Cola drink, but exceptional taste! (Red Bull Cola)

Advantages: Good taste, good energy boost

Disadvantages: A bit too expensive for my liking

As i work in a Spar foodstore i get new products in all the time and i am always keen to purchase them, most of the goods i try i would not repeat purchase however with Red Bull Cola i was pleasantly suprised and i would try again.

This tin sells at a retail price of £1.05 for a 330ml can when i purchased it, quite expensive cola but slightly cheaper than the premium energy drink tins such as Red Bull and Burn. I would say this is a bit pricey because of what it is, a cola drink and cola drinks are usually very cheaply priced. (please note im not including coke or pepsi in description)

The taste is of Cola and nothing like Coke or Pepsi more along the lines of the cheaper cola such as tescos and american cola, this may put some people of but i did love the taste of it and it did have a bit of something else besides the cola taste.

Of course being redbull it is there to be an energy booster or as they put it "to give you wings" and it did just that, not literally of course :) , i tend to drink this first thing in the morning at the beginning of them long shifts in work and it does give me a real hit, and i don't get a hit of high caffeine drinks usually, however like most caffeine drinks i must emphasise that i did experience what could be described as a comedown after it as i felt really tired and drowsy.

The packaging is above average it does look like a combination of red bull and cola just by looking at it with the traditional blue and silver red bull colours then the red to place emphasis on the cola.

The slogan placed at the bottom of the tin says strong and natural, this is a bit off putting as the it certainly does not taste natural, although it boasts natural flavourings and colourings i still think they taste very artificial.

It has a very marmite feel about it, you will either love it or hate it, to be honest most of the people i have spoke to hate it, but i do like it.

I would recommend this product to those fans of caffeine and cola drinks, it may be just a one of purchase but at least you will know whether you like it or not.

Summary: A drink to boost them energy levels, as long as you don't mind paying for them
