Advantages: Nice taste, good sized can, recyclable can.

Disadvantages: A little expensive.

Red Bull is an energy drink that claims to stimulate body & mind & speed up your metabolism.

It is a 250ml can which is blue, red & silver in colour and each 100ml contains 32mg of caffeine. One can is apparently the equivalent of one cup of decent coffee.

Once you open the can it has quite an overpowering smell which is almost a little fruity and then once you have your first taste it's very sweet and after you've finished the can you might find that you are left with a slight after taste and if you smell the breathe of somebody who has been drinking Red Bull it is instantly recognisable. (This often catches out my other half when he's been wasting money on these again!).

Red Bull is actually an enjoyable taste (in my opinion anyway!) it's not too strong, it's quite sweet, and is actually a great mixer for alcoholic drinks. Two drinks that I enjoy are vodka & redbull and vodka & Jagermeister.

Red Bull can be purchased for around 80-90p in supermarkets, from £1-£2 in local stores and anywhere from £1.50-£3.00 in bars/clubs etc and this is without a spirit in it! Wetherspoons is the cheapest place to buy vodka and redbull as they frequently have offers such as a double house vodka and a can of red bull for £3.00 or something similar so it'snot too pricey as a night out drink.

I would definitely advise not drinking this regularly as it is quite strong and does contain taurine and caffeine and if you suffer a sensitivity to either of these ingredients then definitely avoid this drink. Too many of these drinks will mean that you'll have yourself the strangest hangover ever in the morning! You will feel strangely alert but still feel like rubbish at the same time, definitely not an enjoyable experience.

There is around 100 calories per can so it's not too bad but if you are watching calories then give the sugar free version a try.

I am rating this product 4/5 as it is a little expensive when compared to other similar products currently available.

Summary: I would highly recommend this caffeine boost to help give you wings when you need them most!
