Red Bull gives you a big boost, but at a price!
Member Name: nicholaix
Advantages: Good burst of energy
Disadvantages: Pricey, tastes not great!
As a student, you always try to drink some coffee and energy drink when the days aren't enough or like me you realize you have a glooming deadline. Red bull is a lot more expensive than the others I usually buy and I do rarely buy it.
Its just the typical 250ml can pictured above, this is the same as most energy drinks standard can, it retails for around £1.20 and above, which is a lot more than my typical 35p energy drink so I rarely buy it and for the same price could buy around five of a cheaper brand, In essence you tend to just pay for the red bull brand, which is very student-friendly on price. You can also buy a four multi pack for around a fiver.
The taste isn't as strong as the cheaper ones and tastes really sugary, it seems to have a horrible after taste and tastes much more watered down than other alternatives. Its not the nicest tasting energy drink out there.
Because I seem to live on these things during exam time (bad for me I know) I have noticed that Red bull does give the best and longest lasting burst of energy compared to others! and the crash and burn isn't as obvious as others, for that reason I tend to buy one of these for my coursework!
Price normally means some good quality, but in this case I don't think it does, the taste isn't as good as cheaper brands and they are way to expensive for an energy drink, but It certainly does give the best amount of energy!
Summary: Its okay!
