If beer ends up making you feel bloated and slow, this is a nice change of pace. COLD is the only way to drink it - but it is the kind of drink where you can enjoy a nice little buzz and not feel FULL - the "red bull" edge makes it an easy way to have a couple and get those boring house chores out of the way without wanting an afternoon nap. If I have a bottle of vodka at my disposal I may go a little overboard. Nice taste, a little sweeter than I like, but now my wife actually shares a couple with me and now doesn't nag me about picking up a twelve pack to mow the dang lawn. Now she sends me out to pick up a few so we can hang out and get our weekend work done with energy to spare.

Red Square Reloaded hits the spot - Advantages: does the job, saves time at the bar, doesn't bloat you - Disadvantages: not sold at all clubs!

Tonight we decided to have a quiet night in with a DVD, the kids are staying at nannies so off I toddled to the shop to pick up a few bits and pieces for a nice meal. Standing in the queue I was opposite the alcopops when I noticed a new bottle. I picked it up because you've got to have a drink with a DVD, obviously. Vodka Red Square Reloaded comes in a typical Red Square Ice type bottle except this is covered in a gold plastic meaning you can't see the colour of the drink before you pour it. Red Square comes in all sorts of colours; pink, blue and green to name but a few so this could really be any colour in the rainbow. Pouring, I see it's ... Read the complete review

I?ve never really understood the whole idea of mixing an energy drink like Red Bull with vodka. Surely the two would cancel each other out? Maybe the idea is that you?d still fall down in the gutter, but you?d have the energy to get up afterwards, instead of falling asleep there. Or perhaps it?s so that you can dance all night?like an idiot? But mostly the reason I don?t understand it is that I don?t like either of the products in question. Vodka I can handle, although I don?t tend to, if covered by a mixer. But energy drinks? The smell of Red Bull is enough to put me off, never mind tasting it! And drinks of that nature seem to be loaded with sugar and, ... Read the complete review

Getting ready for a night out isn't the same if I don't have a drink or two and listen to Bon Jovi or UB40 while attempting to make my face and hair presentable rather than frightening. Normally I choose white wine or Holsten Pils for my pre night out drink, but when I'm a bit tired as I was yesterday I buy Red Square Reloaded at the corner shop for £1.25 for a 275ml bottle. You can get bigger bottles for £2.99 but they had run out yesterday. Pubs and clubs around here charge anything from £1.50 to £3.00 for the smaller bottle, depending upon the age of the regular clientele. The younger they are the more they are willing to pay it seems. ... Read the complete review
