Advantages: caffeine free, low tanning, adds to daily intake of water ,naturally sweet
Disadvantages: sells out fast in shop,
Red bush tea is red tea that is grown in Africa. It is naturally caffeine
free which is good if your trying to cut down or if you are pregnant.
It is also low in tanning and contains lots of antioxidants which can help fight against life threatening diseases such as cancer.
Other benefits of Red bush tea is that it is naturally sweeter than black teas and can help you cut down on your intake of sugar. This is
especially good if you are dieting.
By drinking African red tea I found that I didn't need to take sugar as it was sweet enough and through that was able to cut out sugar in black tea and right down in my coffee.
Because red tea is caffeine free it counts towards your daily intake of water.
I have only tried two brands of The red bush tea company which was the original brand and tetleys red bush.
It costs between £1 and £3 for around 40 teabags depending on the make and is easily purchased at your local supermarket.
Since I have been drinking African red tea I have felt better and now prefer it to black or green tea.
Summary: tastes as good as normal tea but with more benefits
