When I first visited Poland, I noticed the drink Redd's Apple. Assuming it to be cider or something similar, I bought a bottle or two and began drinking them, after a fair amount of beer in recent days, it initially seemed refreshing.

It is what is known as apple flavoured beer and despite advertising itself in the classiest way possible, it is little more than chemical induced, sweet apple flavoured watery beer that like alko-pops in the UK is a popular choice amongst girls because of it's light pallatable taste which does not seem connected to alcohol.

For any true lover of beer though, this will struggle to get more than 1 star. Admittedly the design is rather refreshing and chilled, it's just about acceptable but tastes little more than a bad quality carbonated apple drink. So - if you like beer or cider - stay away, if you like crap - then give it a go.

The company that produced it has now been bought up and the beer is being distributed worldwide (god forbid!) by SAB Miller.

Summary: Very poor...very poor indeed
