Disgusting "lemon" flavoured beer (Redd's Sun)

Redd's Sun was the last of my Redd's experiments, fortunately they're range was limited to the 3 beers, Redd's Lemon flavour was probably the worst of the bunch, with an overpoweringly bright orange label it's impossible not to notice this one.

Unfortunately the taste was not special at all, I had quite hopes for this one - imagining a lager and lime sort of taste instead it has a distinct bitter fruitiness to it like the citric sparkled flavour water at Marks & Spencers that has a specificly bitter spicy taste to it.

I imagined something refreshing like Lemon Fanta & beer but instead it was more like the sharp flavour of Schweppes Bitter Lemon mixed with a weak lager. The lack of taste of alcohol is in fact a bit misleading as it does still contain 5.1% alcohol. The beer has barely anything of a head and if this shimmering label should try to grab your attention, I would recommend walking on by!
