Advantages: keeps you awake
Disadvantages: A lot to drink in one go
For those of you that don't know, Relentless is an energy drink that is pretty popular on the market. Its cans are twice that of the standard red bull can and probably a bit tastier.
I was a bit scared to try Relentless for the first time therefore only came across whilst shopping during my first year at uni. There was just something about it that I thought I wouldn't like and I didn't want to waste my precious £1 something if I didn't like it. Either way, I was persuaded to buy some as I was feeling tired and Loved it.
The taste is similar to that of red bull (mixed fruit), perhaps not as sweet, but I like that. The after taste is fine and not rank like some other energy drinks. It is a carbonated drink and not still, so if you are not a fan of fizzy drinks, maybe don't try this one.
The can is very easy to distinguish. It's a 500ml can and has a bronze colour to it. Lengthways it says 'Relentless' In a sort of gothic font and really suits the can and looks good. It also states what it is.. In my case I have the original one and it states its name 'ORIGIN' on the front of the can also. The slogan that is written underneath what flavour it is, says...' No half measures, energy, stamina, focus, drive. I feel that that is a good slogan in order to make people buy the drink as that is what it does (unless you drink too many of them).
I must mention that this is a high caffeine drink (32mg per 100g) and WILL keep you awake for a while. Of course this is good in most cases but thought id warn you.
In most shops, this drink retails at about £1-£1.50 per can. It is only available in 500ml cans but would be better if they did smaller cans also, as 500ml is a lot of drink in one go.
There are other flavours of this drink available, but I have never tried them so cannot write about them yet.
Summary: Lives up to its name
