... It's quite fizzy and there's a lot of lacing. The taste is a not a common one but it goes down nicely enough, the mixture of bitter and malt is done well and there's a slight peppery fruityness to it. It's also relatively strong smelling but smells maltier than it actually tastes. I'd say that Remondiolu provides a pleasant surprise, Wiru's range is a bit hit and miss and I wasn't impressed with the plastic bottle polar bear beers but this one has its own unique taste and its really rather nice....more

Remondiolu is another beer in the Viru range this one is widely available throughout Estonia but is barely known outside of its home country. A modern beer in a modern bottle, it has a white hand mark on the label. Available only in a 1 litre plastic bottle, it's an extremely affordable beer. This beer doesn't ooze tradition at all but it's a reasonable lager of an average strength (5.3%), it tastes fairly similar to Wiru Premium.
