Advantages: Rich & tasty flavour

Disadvantages: More expensive than other cordials

Ribena has been a favourite drink of mine since being a kid, but I still love it just as much as I did then, now. It's originally a blackcurrent flavoured concentrated drink with other flavours now available such as strawberry & apple.

You will find alternative cordials on the market from alternative competitors to own brands, however in my opinion none of these come close to the flavour & taste of Ribena. It has a sweet & rich distinctive flavour which just can't be matched.

If you're ill with the flu, I find Ribena invaluable. You don't feel like drinking much but still not to keep your fluids up & this does the job perfectly. Also warm ribena in such cases goes down well too.

So you can probably tell by my review so far that I've describing a drink of some quality & unfortunately this quality comes at a price making Ribena considerably expensive compared to its competitors. A 600ml bottle will set you back around £2.99. However do keep a look out at your local supermarket as they do seem to be on offer quite often.

So even though Ribena is slightly more expensive, I think it's well worth the slight extra money because of it's rich & tasty flavours.

Summary: It may cost slightly more, but it's well worth it!
