Advantages: Nice taste, good price, very economical, a good improvement over supermarket own products.

Disadvantages: Flavour can get a bit boring after a while

When I was very young and I used to watch Wimbledon in the summer on my TV in my parents living room, I always wondered what Robinson's was, seeing as it was advertised on pretty much every single bit of furniture going; we never used to have their squash range in the house! Fast forward 15 years and now you will always find two different bottles in my food cupboard.

Robinson's Orange Fruit Drink is, as you would expect, an orange squash drink. You don't drink it straight, but instead you add tap or bottled water to a small amount of the juice to dilute the flavour to your own taste. There are two great things about this - you can dilute the juice to your own preference in strength, plus it is a lot more economical compared to buying standard juice drink.

The Robinson's range of products are all packaged in a similar way. The bottle itself is transparent, revealing the colour of the juice in question (this being a bright yellow!) with a sturdy green lid. There is also a sugar-free version, which comes with a blue lid instead. The more popular products, such as this one being reviewed, can be bought in various sizes, from 1 litre to 5 litres. At £1.09 in Sainsbury's, I find the one litre variety offers decent value as it is, so I never buy the larger versions. But right this second Sainsbury's have reduced the price of it down to 71p, providing even better value for money!

I personally am happy using cold tap water to dilute the juice down, with maybe a couple of added ice cubs to further chill it on a hot spring/summer day! But some people like hot orange juice, or would rather use bottled water, so again the choice is yours in how you like to take it.

The actual taste is nice and refreshing, yet not too sweet. I was worried the first time I bought this that the added sugar could only cater to those with a sweet tooth, but instead it really helps balance the flavour to a sensible level. I always drink these by the pint glass, but even with such a large amount I can easily get around 15 drinks out of a one litre bottle. Compared to supermarket branded juices, the Robinson's tastes much fuller and less 'processed' - the difference is very noticeable, and it is definitely worth paying the extra few pennies to get the branded product.

There is one downside to these juices; I drink them a lot as I prefer to keep myself hydrated throughout the day, but this then means I can quickly get bored of one flavour. So I always have to have a contrasting flavour in my cupboard in case I get to that stage with my taste buds! But fortunately Robinson's have literally shed loads of different flavours, so much so I find it hard to choose an alternative!

At 71p, this juice is an absolute bargain, and a must for the coming Summer for those traditional English BBQ's and picnics!

Summary: At 71p, it's a great buy. A great everyday drink for the house.
